The most elusive trauma is a 'sense of separation.' We have a cultural disease of over-thinking. Native peoples did not 'think' the way we do, they lived in a state of nonduality or non-separation. The wars they had were not personal and honorable.
Our 'separated' mind causes chronic wanting and fear. In a sense, it knows it is 'missing something'. Native people recognized this quality in white people and gave it various names.
